O deputado estadual Thiago Silva (MDB) esteve nesta terça-feira (27) cumprindo agenda na sede do município e na zona rural de Porto Alegre do Norte, localizado a 980 km da Capital Cuiabá. O parlamentar esteve acompanhado do Ex-prefeito da cidade José Carlos (MDB), Presidente da Câmara Alex Gomes e vereadores Keno e Rodrigo da Antena e demais lideranças do município.
 
A comitiva percorreu o trecho da MT 550 que liga Porto Alegre ao Distrito de Nova Floresta e o deputado Thiago Silva já fez a indicação 4103/2021 para que a Sinfra possa fazer a pavimentação do trecho. “Fizemos a indicação e temos a garantia de iniciar 15 km de asfalto que vai beneficiar pequenos produtores e a agricultura familiar local. Tenho um carinho especial pelo Araguaia e vamos continuar cobrando melhorais do Estado para logística e a economia desta importante região de Mato Grosso”, disse o deputado Thiago.
 
Durante a agenda Thiago Silva este vistoriando a situação de estradas vicinais, pontes e conversou com empresários e pequenos produtores da região. O deputado vai cobrar que o Estado possa realizar a troca das pontes de madeira por pontes de concreto que irão ajudar os caminhoneiros e veículos menores que trafegam diariamente.
 
Em um segundo momento, os parlamentares estiveram vistoriando a Escola Estadual José Gonçalves, localizada no distrito de Nova Floresta. Thiago Silva conversou com a diretoria escolar e recebeu as demandas de reforma e melhorias.
 
Os vereadores e lideranças locais agradeceram o empenho do deputado que levantou a bandeira da pavimentação da MT-550 e veio pessoalmente o distrito conhecer as condições dos moradores da região. “Em nome dos vereadores e da população de Porto Alegre do Norte quero agradecer a parceria do deputado Thiago Silva que sempre nos recebe bem na capital e trabalha para trazer melhorias para a nossa região”, disse o vereador Alex Gomes.
