Informações que chegaram até a redação do site alô Xavantina com Ney Weliton é que um homem encapuzado e armado atirou contra Divino e atingiu outras pessoas que estavam no local curtindo som automotivo e consumindo bebida alcoólica.
Divino Lira, veio a óbito e as outras pessoas feridas deram entrada no hospital de Nova Xavantina.
Segundo relatos, o atirador veio a pé no escuro pelo mato e puxou o gatilho.
