É com pesar que noticiamos o falecimento do Senhor Fernando Cruz.
Durante muitos anos, teve uma participação ativa na sociedade de Nova Xavantina.
Um homem culto, educado, trabalhador, que ao longo de sua história fez grandes amigos.
Um exímio administrador, gerenciou a fazenda Viena, durante a gestão do Grupo Garavelo durante muitos anos, integrante do Clube de serviço Lions, era um homem disposto á ajudar sempre.
Para cuidar de sua irmã, mudou se para Guaiçara, Estado São Paulo, onde vivia nos últimos anos.
Dias atrás, foi internado numa U.T.I. com pneumonia.
Infelizmente veio á óbito após sofrer uma parada cardíaca.
A Senhora Fernanda Campos, escreveu um texto na rede social homenageando o amigo.

Conversei com ele no dia 25 de julho e relatou-me sobre vários exames que haviam sido realizados por causa de uma gripe forte, disse-me também sobre o cansaço de ficar hospitalizado tomando muitas injeções, o desconforto da falta de ar e o que mais o afligia era a sua preocupação em ter deixado a irmã doente sozinha na casa…
Depois, dessa nossa conversa, nunca mais obtive notícias…
Soube há três dias que estava na U T I devido à pneumonia; e hoje, a triste notícia de seu falecimento…
Descanse em paz, meu amigo Fernando Cruz e que Deus o acolha em um caminho de luz!”
